The core business of Lindab is to develop, manufacture, market and distribute products and system solutions for simplified construction and improved indoor climate. Lindab is now looking to strengthen the Group Finance Department with a Senior Accountant and Financial Compliance Manager. In this position your main responsibility will be to ensure compliance of financial reporting and internal control. You report to the Group Financial Controller.
The role includes:
- Internal Control:
Work with internal control related questions and assessments with aim to guide as well as review entities within the Group, all with the aim to strengthen routines, assure an efficient internal control environment and to have a standardised approach where applicable, i.e. to be an anchor of internal control within Lindab Group and work proactively with these questions.
- Financial reporting guidelines:
Prepare and maintain guidelines for financial reporting, and other manuals of Group reporting. The work will also include preparation of key accounting assessments on a continuous basis and involvement in implementation of new/changed accounting standards as well as other new rules/regulations related to the area.
- Support in accounting related ad hoc questions, special projects and support to Group Finance in terms of preparation of financial documents such as the annual reports etc.
Qualifications and experience
You have a university degree in Economics, preferably with accounting as main subject. To be successful in this role we expect that you have experience of qualified accounting in an international environment, preferably where IFRS has been applied. It is also highly relevant that you have a good understanding of and have worked with quality assurance in terms of operational key processes, maybe from a SOX compliant environment. It is an advantage to have worked with manufacturing companies.
The corporate language is English hence fluency is required.
