As Chief Accountant, you will play an essential role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across the Nordic and Baltic regions, while collaborating with our global shared service center in India. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Financial Accuracy: Lead the monthly and quarterly closings, ensuring results are accurate and delivered on time, in compliance with IFRS.
• Drive Financial Excellence: Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, annual reports, income tax filings, and tax reporting.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders: Lead Balance Sheet Review meetings and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, driving external audits for assigned legal entities.
• Enhance Processes: Take charge of simplifying and standardizing accounting processes, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our operations.
• Collaborate and Lead: Participate in exciting projects, system enhancements, and ad-hoc analyses, leveraging your expertise to support Schneider Electric’s continued growth.

Qualifications and experience

• A master’s degree in economics or equivalent, with a strong focus on accounting.
• Previous experience in accounting, ideally in a global organization, with a track record of process improvement.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and other MS tools.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• A team player with a methodical, systematic approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
