Strategic Senior FP&A Analyst to customer, Solna

In this role, you will help drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to operational optimization—particularly within a manufacturing environment. Meritmind is handling this recruitment on behalf of the client.

Main tasks and responsibilities as title

• Analyze current and historical financial data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement and prepare detailed financial reports and projections to support business planning.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation and investment opportunities.
• Develop and assess profit plans aligned with company goals.
• Identify financial trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to align forecasts and business strategies.
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning.
• Monitor production costs and support cost-efficiency initiatives and lead cost accounting processes, including cost setup, tracking, and variance analysis.
  

Qualifications and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in financial planning and analysis or management accounting, preferably in manufacturing finance. A solid understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting is important, along with experience working with ERP systems and managing large datasets. You are highly proficient in Power BI and comfortable creating dashboards and reports for various stakeholders. Familiarity with tools such as SQL, SAP, Python, or VBA is considered a strong advantage. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

You have a structured and analytical approach to financial work, with an interest in supporting business decisions through data-driven insights. You are comfortable working both independently and in teams, and you value accuracy, clarity, and consistency in your deliveries.
