Business Controller at ESSVE, Stockholm

As Business Controller PPP at ESSVE, you will be a key collaborator for various parts of the organization. Your role involves close cooperation with central functions at the headquarters, focusing on Project, Price and Product. Additionally, units within the EAST region will be regular partners in this role. With the available analytical tools, you will play a vital role throughout the organization. Since the company is in a developmental phase, there are opportunities to shape the role moving forward.

You will be part of the Finance and IT team, which consists of six people, all based at ESSVE’s Stockholm headquarters. The position reports directly to the CFO.

Main responsibilities as Business Controller:

• Responsible for central projects within Finance:
  • Example: Implement forecast tool within the Group
  • Develop product calculation for increased profitability
  • Participate in ERP project
• Business control for growth area ESSVE Innovation (licence business)
• Develop controlling for EAST units
• Business controller for HQ functions Product and Supply – analysis and contribute to improvements
• Responsible for Price process assumptions twice a year
• Develop sustainability reporting together with our Sustainability manager

 Qualifications and experience

• Academic degree in economics, with practical experience in analysis and data management.
• You might have worked as an auditor and/or as a Business Controller.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience with BI tools and handling large data sets is advantageous, as is experience from international companies and projects.
