Financial Controller to Zacco in Copenhagen

In this critical role, you will help build a resilient back-up function and provide strong support for our Financial Controllers in Sweden and Denmark. You will also collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group Business Controller, contributing to financial excellence across the organization. The position is located in Ørestad, Copenhagen and reports to the Group Controller.

What You’ll Do:

• Work together with the team on monthly closings for our Swedish and Danish legal entities
• Prepare and analyze income statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Handle VAT reporting and contribute to the legal annual closing process
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Prepare Annual Reports and income tax calculations (training provided if needed)
• Conduct variance analyses and offer insights into key financial metrics
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies
• Support audits and regulatory reporting processes

What we are Looking For:

• Experience in accounting or financial control
• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in preparing legal annual accounts is essential
• Knowledge of consolidated accounting, controlling, and audit processes (training available if needed)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Clear communicator with the ability to present complex financial data effectively
• A team-oriented mindset with a positive, growth-focused attitude
• Comfort with embracing change, supporting others, and adopting new technology
• Fluency in English is essential, as it is our corporate language. Danish or Swedish language is highly meritable.
