DeLaval is now recruiting a highly committed and ambitious ESG reporting specialist, based in Tumba outside of Stockholm. The role of the ESG reporting specialist is a central part of the Group’s crucial competence area of sustainability. The essence of the role is to collect and analyze data for the ESG reporting alongside the Group Accounting and Sustainability reporting team.

As an ESG reporting specialist at DeLaval, you will work in a company where sustainability is a high priority. Important sustainability topics are a clear part of the business strategy, placing them at the forefront throughout the Group. The role has a strong international focus and involves many different contact points, both internally and externally. You report to the Group Accounting Director.

Your main areas of responsibility as ESG reporting specialist

  • Oversee the collection and analysis of data in/for the ESG reporting
  • Design and implement ESG data management policies, processes, and controls across the organisation
  • Coordinate efforts to comply with new regulatory reporting requirements including but not limited to the EU Corporate Sustainability
  • Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • Collaborate with all relevant departments to support data governance and controls and identify accountabilities for stakeholder data needs
  • Support on the development and implementation of a company-wide plan for collecting, storing, validating and distributing ESG data and content for reporting
  • Collaborate with Internal and External Audit to ensure ESG disclosures and associated documentation are assurance ready
  • Staying updated in ESG regulations, standards and best practices

Qualifications and experience

  • University degree and if you have specialized in sustainability during your education, it’s a clear advantage
  • Finance or analytical background from business or financial controlling, preferably in global organizations and with a great interest to learn new things and develop, experience from Group Financial Reporting is also valuable
  • Understanding of current ESG regulatory developments in Europe and internationally
  • Experience from reporting, or preparations for reporting, under ESG reporting standards
  • Good communication and presentation skills to convey complex ESG concepts to various stakeholders
  • You speak and write fluent English and are a very skilled Excel user. Experience from SAP is also valuable in the role
