On behalf of Fagerhult Group, we are now recruiting a Group Financial Controller, based in Stockholm. This position is an expansion of the Group Finance & Legal team at Fagerhult Group. Currently the Group has a well-established Finance function that handles a wide range of topics including Financial- and Business Controlling and consists of three employees. This recruitment is an important step in the ongoing process to establish a group finance function to meet the Group’s need for valuable financial analysis. The role is global, and you will work in close cooperation with several offices and global operations where the Group has operations from Melbourne to Montreal.

Main tasks and development areas as Group Financial Controller

As the Group Financial Controller, you will play a central role in the group finance team and improve processes and continue to develop the group finance function in a decentralized organization.

  • Group reporting internal and external, financial statements, budget and forecasts
  • Group accounting and consolidation
  • System administration and process improvements
  • Review and follow-up on reported data
  • Support group entities on accounting, finance and reporting relating questions
  • Extract data and structure reports
  • Up-to date on IFRS rules
  • Treasury – Cash pool and financing topics
  • Ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications and experience
A recognized university degree or similar in a relevant field.  Relevant experience with focus on accounting and reporting. Most likely either previous experience from auditing or from international, listed environment.  High IT/system interest and knowledge where experience as a super user or admin in a group consolidation toll or equivalent is a plus.
